European Researchers' Night

Ideas Factory
When ideas meet reality

Thursday, September 19, 2019 | 16:00 – 22:00 | Free entrance!
The Bloomfield Science Museum Jerusalem invites you to 2019 Researchers' Night which takes place every year and is initiated and funded by the European Union and supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Visitors are invited to take part in various activities, workshops, guided tours and encounters with researchers.
It happens to each and every one of us – an amazing idea occurs to us in the shower, while we are cooking, or stuck in traffic. The kind of idea that will solve most of the world’s problems while padding our pockets a little. Almost all of us also experience the next stage – the idea shatters on the hard, cold surface of reality, leaving us frustrated and a little wiser.
Is it possible to winnow out the less feasible ideas ahead of time? What is the correct process for successfully implementing an idea? How can we adapt a product for its intended audience?
Welcome to the Ideas Factory!
Diverse experts and activities introduce visitors to the fascinating process that transforms a good idea into a successful product, along with the accompanying challenges.
