Flashlight in the dark

Have you ever seen a large black cat with glowing eyes staring at you in the night, only to discover, at second glance, that what you were actually seeing was the distant reflection of street lights on a piece of glass lying on a log. Or maybe, upon entering a dark room, you were convinced that someone was sitting in an armchair, but realized after switching on the light that what you saw was merely an old blanket?

What we see, or think we see, depends on so many things – what we expect to see, what we dread seeing, the angle at which we approach the object, the strength and direction of the light, and so on.

The aim of this exhibition is to surprise and confuse you, and to open your eyes to a new way of seeing the world.
